Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible greeting guests warmly in a polite manner and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Knowledge in surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within designated areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Document any incidents or breaches of security in detailed reports for further investigation.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and assist in investigations related to loss prevention.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
Requirements
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is an advantage.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks or breaches.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Must possess a valid security guard license or be willing to obtain one as required by local regulations.
