Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and identify potential security threats.
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond swiftly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively.
- Perform safety checks including first aid assistance and CPR when necessary to support health emergencies.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure proper resolution.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are a plus; ongoing training is encouraged.
- Familiarity with surveillance tools such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective conflict resolution.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations confidently.
