Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol (Part-Time and Full-Positions Needed)

Job Summary
Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Rover Patrol Security Guard at Guard Tech Security Group, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and security of our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine patrols throughout the premises, including outdoor and indoor areas, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by assessing situations and coordinating with emergency services if necessary
- Conduct loss prevention measures by inspecting for theft or vandalism and ensuring proper security protocols are followed
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping for security reports
- Assist with conflict management by calmly de-escalating tense situations and ensuring safety for all individuals involved
- Support first aid efforts when needed by providing basic medical assistance until professional help arrives
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and security protocols
- Security D License and minimum 3 years of security experience
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security enhances situational awareness and response capabilities
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
- Experience in conflict resolution, incident reporting, and emergency response procedures
