Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to detect suspicious activity and prevent security breaches
- Control access to the premises by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for accountability and reporting purposes
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR are preferred; training will be provided if needed
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems is advantageous
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and emergency responders effectively

Pay: $22.35 - $26.92 per hour
