A Little Place to Relax is seeking a reliable, experienced Security Officer to join us. This is a Part time position working either day or evening shift.

Job Duties Include:
- Checking IDs for entry
- Responding to disturbances in or around the shop
- Actively monitoring shop entry/exit points and floor activities at all time
- Making periodic rounds in the vicinity of the shop
- Staying alert and service and security-focused whenever in guest areas
- Answering guest questions, assisting on the sales floor as needed
Requirements:
- 1 year of security guard experience Active Security guard license
- Must possess a valid NYS security guard license- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must provide certification from 8/16 hour pre-guard course.

- Work experience in a Security/Door Person role is required
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Able to work a varied schedule, including days, evening, weekends and holidays, as business requires
- Can work within strict compliance requirements while keeping a positive attitude
- A proven track record of success diffusing difficult situations while working in a security role
Experience:
- Security Officer: 1 year (Required)
- ID Checking: 1 year (Preferred)
- Security License
