Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our team in Fort Lee, NJ. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
- Ensure security protocols are followed, including checking IDs and maintaining security logs.
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and alarms in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a visible presence and communicate with staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular checks to ensure safety.
- Write detailed incident reports and provide a professional security presence.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar position preferred.
- Ability to stand or patrol for long periods of time.
- Strong communication skills and a calm demeanor in emergencies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
