Construction Site Security Officer
Part-Time | 24-32 Hours/Week | Shifts Available (2nd, 3rd)

About the Role
CIM Security is hiring professional, alert, and reliable Security Officers for a construction site in Westborough, MA. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring property access, deterring unauthorized activity, and providing excellent service to contractors, tenants, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Access Control: Manage site entry by verifying IDs, logging activity, and enforcing protocols
- Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors, contractors, and tenants with professionalism
- Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct site patrols and use monitoring systems to detect issues
- Incident Response: Respond to emergencies (e.g., fire, medical, security breaches) calmly and efficiently
- Trespass Prevention: Monitor for unauthorized access and intervene as necessary
- Property Inspections: Identify and report safety concerns, maintenance needs, or suspicious activity
- Report Writing: Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
- De-Escalation & Command Presence: Handle conflicts and high-stress situations with composure and authority
Qualifications
- Required:
- 1+ year of experience in a security role
- High school diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of access control systems and basic security tools
- Clear communication and strong observation skills
- Preferred:
- Valid Driver’s License
- De-escalation or conflict resolution training
- Prior experience on construction sites

- Tuesday - Friday
- 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
We are hiring for all shifts. Full-time roles available with steady schedules, including weekends and overnights.
