Our client a well known University is seeking a Security Guard Coordinator in their New York, New York location!
Schedule flexibility required, with availability to work either a 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM shift based on operational needs
- Valid New York State Unarmed Security License required
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the building and school grounds to maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Provide a visible security presence to deter potential safety or security concerns
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or safety-related situations
- Assist staff, students, and visitors with directions, information, and general support as needed
- Prepare basic incident reports and document observations when required
- FDNY FO1 or FO4 certification strongly preferred
