Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to prevent unauthorized access or breaches.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations effectively to maintain safety.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for incident reporting or investigations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security risks.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and conflict management techniques is essential.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
