Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents as necessary. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the property.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action based on established protocols.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities within designated areas.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals in emergency situations.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.
- Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience in security or law enforcement roles. Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in security operations or military service is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
