Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with a focus on preventing incidents and responding effectively to any emergencies. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and enforce company policies.
Duties
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Enforce company policies regarding safety and security protocols while managing conflicts effectively.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or fraud situations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring surroundings.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.66 per hour
