Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to maintain safety and security at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, ensuring the safety of personnel and property, and responding effectively to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to oversee premises and detect potential security breaches
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations
- Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying and addressing suspicious behaviors or activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required to ensure safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts and maintain high levels of vigilance
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet all legal requirements for security personnel
