Job Overview
As a part Security Guard, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our facilities and the people within them. Your vigilance and proactive approach will help deter potential threats while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You’ll be the first line of defense, utilizing your skills in surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response to protect our assets and personnel.

What you’ll do
- Monitor and authorize access to the premises for employees, visitors, and contractors to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address any security concerns or irregularities
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to maintain surveillance over key areas, documenting any incidents as they arise
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the protection of company assets
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring a quick response to medical emergencies
- Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference
- Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor
Experience
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred will train the right minded person.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV technology is essential
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Background in military service is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
