Tiny Security Protection Services is currently seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team at a residential building located in Jersey City, NJ. This position requires individuals who are alert, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Observe and operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee key areas
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and checking credentials of visitors and staff
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing assistance and notifying law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism and reporting concerns
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors professionally and addressing inquiries politely
Requirements
- Proven ability to remain alert, attentive, and vigilant during long shifts
- Must Have Valid SORA License
- Strong communication skills to effectively report incidents and interact with the public
- Basic knowledge of security procedures, conflict management, and emergency response protocols
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV is preferred
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or law enforcement experience are advantageous but not mandatory
- Previous experience in security, military service, or law enforcement is a plus
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able to work 8 and 12 hour shifts
