Execushield, Inc. is currently recruiting responsible and proactive FULL TIME Unarmed Security Officers for Redwood City Hall of Justice
Applicants should meet the minimum requirements, with a desire to obtain further training to improve and provide a professional safe environment.
Our security operations are led by former/current military and law enforcement personnel and as a direct result our Officers are held to a higher standard.
Candidates with prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience are preferred, but applicants considering a career in Law Enforcement or with a Customer Service background are encouraged to apply.
Summary: FULL TIME
Monday to Friday -
8:30AM TO 5:30PM
$23.00 per hour
Currently hiring for: Redwood City Hall of Justice
Primary Duties:
- Staff the courthouse security checkpoint.
- Work alongside San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies.
- Operate the X-ray machine.
- Conduct wand screenings when necessary.
- Screen visitors entering the courthouse.
- Prevent prohibited items and contraband from entering the building.
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence while assisting the public.
- Complete required reports and documentation.
Employment Minimum Qualifications:
- 21 years or older
- Minimum Two (2) years security guard experience preferred.
- Current BSIS Guard Card
- Be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently within a team-oriented framework

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies situations where security violations have occurred and takes reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and company/customer assets.

- Continually required to talk or hear
- Frequently utilize visual acuity to read technical information
